beyond varied worldviews.

Yet, according to the latest figures, 35% of all teachers in the Netherlands need more training in ‘developing skills in teaching in multicultural and multilingual settings’ to feel more empowered to accommodate diversity. Despite
the need, teachers currently do not receive a comprehensive formal education as to how to effectively respond to diversity in their classrooms.

We are here to change that.
Children can learn to understand and appreciate differences in their peers’ perspectives and experiences from an early age. For a more harmonious school experience for all children, understanding diversity is an important skill to have.
In many European countries, students with a migration background tend to have less favourable educational experiences and positions, which can limit their chances later in life. Teachers and school leaders can do something about it!
Schools are not immune to the challenges we experience in our society in terms of navigating through differences when working with people.
